Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and personable Admin Assistant cum Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the office while ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience for visitors and employees. This role involves a blend of administrative tasks and customer service, requiring strong multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as the first point of contact for clients, employees, and visitors

2. Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy, organized, and welcoming.
3. Answer phone calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate departments, and take messages when necessary.
4. Receive and sort mail and deliveries
5. Assist with daily office operations and ensure smooth functioning of the office environment.
6. Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences for staff.
7. Handle incoming and outgoing emails, correspondence, and other administrative tasks.
8. Organize and maintain office files, records, and documentation.
9. Prepare and process office supplies, inventory, and purchase orders.
10. Attend committee meetings and prepare minutes.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
2. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Friendly and professional attitude.
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
