Position Overview

Cromwell UK is seeking an experienced and passionate Faculty Member to join the academic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering lectures, and contributing to the overall academic environment. You will engage with students through both teaching and mentoring, helping them to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lectures and tutorials in your area of expertise, ensuring that course content is aligned with curriculum requirements and educational standards.
• Contribute to the development, review, and improvement of course materials, syllabi, and assessments to enhance the learning experience.
• Provide academic support to students, including one-on-one consultations, mentoring, and advising, ensuring they receive the guidance needed for academic success.
• Develop and grade assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
• Work closely with other faculty members and academic staff to enhance teaching practices, share resources, and contribute to departmental initiatives.
• Stay current with developments in your field of expertise and higher education teaching practices, attending workshops, conferences, and training as needed.
• Participate in faculty meetings, academic committees, and institutional events, contributing to the overall goals and mission of Cromwell UK.
• Participate in administrative tasks such as record keeping, course scheduling, and maintaining office hours for student consultations.
• Foster an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and creativity.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Business, Education and relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the higher education level, specifically in Business-related subjects. Experience with curriculum development and student assessment is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and research. Ability to integrate real-world applications into the curriculum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to students.
• Familiarity with educational technologies, online learning platforms, and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.
• A track record of research and scholarly work, with evidence of publications, conference presentations, or other relevant academic achievements (if applicable).
• A demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with blended or online learning environments.
• Proficiency in using various learning management systems (LMS), such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas.
• Membership in relevant professional organizations or academic societies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment.
